The Patch Kit includes one yard of patch material in white and black. Patch material also is available in 12 popular colors when purchased separately. This twill material is an ideal stabilizer and makes a perfect background for patches that are not 100% stitches. It also has a heat-activated sealer on its reverse side to aid in the sealing process.

As part of the kit, you also get a yard of heat seal roll. Heat seal roll is an adhesive film that is applied to the back of the patch material and not only seals the edges but allows them to be heat sealed to any type of fabric. Or you can use the heat seal roll as a tack-down to hold the emblem in place while you sew it.

 To seal the edges of the patch with the heat seal roll material, the kit includes a handy heat knife and a universal cutting tip. Combined, these two tools are used to give a patch a finished edge and eliminate unraveling or ragged edges.
